The Eight of Wands:
Prepare to launch!
A young archer is poised at the ready with a wand notched in his bow, taking aim. The white of his shirt is a symbol of purity. The beautiful landscape beyond him symbolizes what is right in the world. However, there are also dark clouds in the sky, and circling birds, giving a sense that something vital - life and death - is about to transpire. Seven other wands seem suspended in the air with him, ready to launch with the one he is prepared to shoot at the intended target.
This card appears to tell you that there will be swift action required, and to remind you to remain true to your goals, and have the courage to act upon them even in times of danger and uncertainty. There is power and support all around you provided your motives are pure and your mission is ethical. Wands are the cards of energy, emotion, and passion. So, be prepared to move in the direction of your passions, and make an emotional decision - but make it also knowing your heart is in the right place to do the right thing. Have courage and know that when you make your move, it will be the right one at the right time and there is great support coming to you.
